Fahrenheit 451 Test

You will share a 2 page document with me at whitney.chandler@cobbk12.org.

Page 1: Insert the piece of art or photograph from Flickr.com that you decided best represented the theme you chose.

Page 2: Type your “book test prework,” arranging your various answers into 2 paragraphs.

  • Paragraph 1: Write the theme you chose, and explain how you believe it is relevant to real life (min. 5 sentences). [This is #1 and #5 on your paper.]
  • Paragraph 2: Write your plot summary of the book, incorporating your quote where it fits, and citing it like so. [This is #s 2, 3, and 4 on your paper.]
    • “I’ve had to read a few books in my time, to know what I was about, and the books say nothing! Nothing you can teach or believe” (Bradbury 77).
    • Notice that I moved the period from the quote to the very end, after the parenthetical documentation.
